I decided to add a little twist to the 225 lb. Bench Press challenge and do them with paused reps. As a powerlifter, you have to get very good at performing paused reps. This is a way to do that and also kept things interesting for me.
I aim to not get stagnant during lifting, otherwise I burn out and end up have a lull period for several weeks. Things like this help me keep my training interesting. Going for a 1RM can be exciting but is also a daunting task.
